Automatic Pet Door Kit includes two wireless push buttons for human use and selected pet sensors. Once Autoslide is fitted to the existing sliding door, door can be opened automatically by humans either via the wireless push buttons or via the built-in pull assist, where just a gentle pull of the door handle will activate a full open. Doors will automatically close after the adjustable time delay.
To activate the automatic pet door function, you will then learn in the included pet sensor/s and set the pet opening width to suit the size of your pet. This simple two-step process is outlined in the included Instructions Manual.

To use the door as both an automatic door for yourself and automatic pet door for your pet, simply switch modes.

Had enough of your pets going in and out? Switch back to Automatic mode to temporarily disable the pet sensors. Handy for night time when you want to lock the doors.
Motion sensor pet doors are recommended for pet owners with very small pets such as kittens or chihuahuas that are unsuitable for wearing collars or for pets that do not like wearing a collar. If you have a secure backyard, this kit is right for you. This is also a great option for pet owners with large dogs like Great Danes. You will be able to mount the sensor above the door and still be able to detect your pets. For pet owners who have any concerns of unwanted animals entering their homes (ie. possums, raccoon’s), this kit is not the option for you.
With the motion sensor pet door kits, one motion pet sensor is mounted on the inside of the house to let your pet out and the other motion sensor is mounted on the outside for your pet to come back in. When your pet is within the beam range of the motion pet sensor, the sensor sends a signal to the Autoslide system to automatically open the door for him or her!
The Autodoorslide Motion Sensor Pet Door Kit works as the name suggests – activate via motion. It uses infrared beams to detect movement. It does not discriminate so any form of motion within the range of the pet sensor will activate a pet open.
The i3 Collar ID was designed and created for the U.S. market. If you are worried about the neighbors' cats or unwanted animals entering your home via the motion pet sensors, an Autoslide i3 Collar ID Pet Door Kit is what you need instead. With the help of a special magnetic pet sensor, only pets wearing a the magnetic collar tag will be able to trigger a pet open when they are within range of the sensor.
Only one i3 magnetic pet sensor is required per door and needs to be
hard-wired back to the Autodoorslide system using the included
cable. The sensor will need to be mounted as close to the glass as
possible so that it can pick up signal from the collar tag on the
pet whether its inside or outside. If there is a screen door as well
as a glass door, it is recommended that you purchase an additional
wireless motion pet sensor for the inside to let the pet out and
mount the i3 magnetic pet sensor on the outside to let your pet back
in.
More than one pet? Each i3 Pet Door Kit comes with 2 collar tags, but you can purchase more separately. You can have as many collar tags work with the same sensor as required.
There is now a new way Autoslide can open your sliding door for
your pet to come and go.
The new pet mat sensor slides under your door mat and activates the door via radio transmitter when the pet stands on the mat. This simple to use device can be moved around to gain the best method of approach of your pet. The transmitter is Velcro-ed to the door frame and the mat is positioned under a conveniently located doormat.
The pet mat will activate even with the weight of the smallest of
dogs. The Autodoorslide pet mode allows the door to open only
partially enough for your pet to use it, without opening the door
fully thus reducing loss of heating or cooling.
